What is it?
A shock wave of light fractures the pigment of skin where the tattoo is located.
What does it accomplish?
Your body contains cells that are considered “garbage collecting cells” and these cells come to the areas treated to remove the fractured pigment of the tattooed skin.
Am I a good candidate?
Physically, if you do not have any general medical contraindications you may be a good candidate. Some colors of tattoo pigment are more efficiently removed than others. Of course, Dr. Bartlett’s evaluation of your viability as a good candidate is also an important factor as well.
